Deputy Director, Financial Regulation and Supervision

Digital Frontiers

I am currently the Deputy Director Financial Regulation and Supervision with Digital Frontiers, where I lead this focus area through being the Program Manager of an upcoming program, Digital Financial Inclusion Supervision (DFIS), which is being developed in partnership with Toronto Centre. I am the lead for all of Digital Frontiers Institute’s regulatory courses across the Certified Digital Finance Practitioner (CDFP) and Instant and Inclusive Payment Systems (IIPS) Programs. I have a great passion for capacity building, which contributes to the development of agile, innovative and inclusive financial systems.

I have previously worked for the Central Bank of eSwatini as the Manager of the CBE Intelligence Hub, I oversaw eSwatini’s first Fintech Challenge and the finalization of eSwatini’s Regulatory Guidelines in 2018. I have experience and knowledge of payment systems, macroprudential supervision and the use of financial regulatory and supervisory tools towards increased financial inclusion.
