Ighoakpo Eduje is a seasoned Information Systems Security, Risk and Compliance professional with over Twenty-two (22) years of banking experience spanning across, Information Systems Security, Audit, Risk Management, Control and Compliance and currently the Chief Information Security Officer in Heritage Bank Plc. Lagos Nigeria after serving in different leadership capacities at Access Bank Plc. and United Bank for Africa Plc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria, and MBA in Management Tech. from Lagos State University. He attended a Middle Management Program at the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.

He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), an ISO27001 (Information Security Management System) Lead Implementer and Auditor, ISO22301 (Business Continuity Management System) Lead Implementer and Auditor, ISO20000 (IT Service Management System) Lead Auditor, Lead Cybersecurity Manager (ISO27032), ISO27701(Privacy Information Management System) Implementer, an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO).
