Collins Wanyonyi is the Head, Enterprise Banking at Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited.

Previously, he served as Head, Public Sector & Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) within Stanbic Bank during which stint he had additional responsibility as Head, Enterprise Banking on acting capacity. Collins served as the Head SME Banking before his appointment as Head Public Sector & NBFI.

Collins has over 22 years’ experience in Banking and Finance cutting across retail operation, SME banking and corporate banking. He joined Stanbic Bank as a Relationship Manager within Government and International Organizations (GIO) in the then Corporate and Investment Banking, (CIB).

Amongst his great achievements, he was part of the team that rolled out the new Business Banking segment in Stanbic bank’s retail business as a Relationship Manager in International Development Group (IDG) and progressed to head the unit.

Prior to joining Stanbic Bank, Collins worked for a Top Tier Local Bank of Kenya where he served in various roles with his last role being Branch Operations Manager in an acting capacity. The other roles included Credit Officer and Personal Banker.

Collins holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting and Business Administration Majors) from Daystar University, he also holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Nairobi. In addition, he has acquired Behavioural Economics Certification from London Economics. He is also a Certified Coach having received accreditation by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) through Erickson Coaching International.

Outside corporate life, Collins serves as a Board of Management Member for a Public Girls Secondary School. He is a Rotarian and Immediate former Treasurer of Rotary Club of Nairobi Samawati. Equally, he is serving as President at Himaya Toastmasters Club. To cool off, he is a Recreational runner, and a Farmer.
