In his pivotal role, Geoffrey is entrusted with the comprehensive management of all regulatory and legal functions for the business within Nigeria, which stands as Yellow Card’s largest and most significant country market of operations.
Geoffrey is recognized as a highly experienced FinTech attorney with a specialized focus on Blockchain regulation and digital assets matters. His extensive expertise in this rapidly evolving field is a cornerstone of Yellow Card’s legal and compliance framework. Before joining Yellow Card, Geoffrey played a crucial role as the Project Manager of the Digital Currency Coalition, a leading alliance of Virtual Assets Service Providers (VASPs) across Africa. Furthermore, he demonstrated his leadership capabilities by heading the founders’ office at Patricia Technologies, a preeminent Nigerian crypto exchange, where he contributed significantly to its growth and operational excellence.
Academically, Geoffrey is exceptionally well-qualified. He holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) degree from the esteemed University of Lagos, a Bachelor of Law (B.L.) degree from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.B. from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
